These terms cover your use of HomeFolk, the shared app for managing your home's chores and grocery lists. By joining the waitlist or using the app, you agree to them. We have kept them plain because that is how we would want them explained to us.

Who we are

HomeFolk is an independent app made by a small team. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

Using HomeFolk

Your content

The tasks, lists, item names, and member names you add are yours. You keep ownership of them. You grant us only the permission we need to store your content and sync it to the other members of your household, so the app can do its job.

You are responsible for what you and your household members add. Please keep it to the everyday business of running a home.

Plans and payment

HomeFolk has a free plan that covers your whole household at no cost. We also offer HomeFolk Plus, a paid plan with extra features, billed monthly or yearly with a free trial.

Prices may change over time. If they do, we will give you notice before any change affects you.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist simply tells us you would like to hear when HomeFolk is ready. It does not create an account or any obligation, and you can ask to be removed at any time by emailing [email protected].

Availability

We work hard to keep HomeFolk running well, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or pause features as the app grows. The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those the law requires.

Ending your use

You can stop using HomeFolk and delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or where we must to protect the service and the people using it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, HomeFolk is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use HomeFolk after a change means you accept the updated terms.
